Returns and Exchanges Policy


Sale, Clearance, and Discounted Items (Online & In-Store)

Please note that sale, discounted, and clearance items are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable. By purchasing these items, you acknowledge and accept these terms.


Non-Sale Items Returns (Online & In-Store)

Returns Window:
You may return eligible items within 14 days of purchase or receipt. After 14 days, refunds, credit notes, or exchanges cannot be offered.

Return Conditions:
To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be in their original condition, unwashed, and unworn.
  • Swing tags must be attached, and items must be returned in their original packaging.
  • Items must be free of any snags, pulls, makeup, or fake tan marks.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Sale, discounted, and clearance items.
  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons).
  • Swimwear without the hygiene sticker intact.
  • Occasion wear items (non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable).

Proof of Purchase:
A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns. Ensure you retain proof of postage, as you are responsible for the item until it is received by us.


Refunds

Refunds are processed for online purchases only, provided all return criteria are met.

  • Refund Adjustments:

    • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
    • If you use a DPD return label, the cost will be deducted from your refund:
      • £5.99 for casual wear.
      • £9.99 for occasion wear.
  • Refund Timeline:
    Refunds are processed upon inspection of the returned item. Banks may take up to 10 working days to credit your account, depending on their processing times.

In-Store Purchases:

  • Refunds are not available for in-store purchases. Instead, items can be exchanged, or a credit note valid for 3 months from the date of issue, will be issued.

Exchanges

Exchanges are offered only for defective or damaged items.

A Returns Reference Number is required for all exchanges.


Christmas Returns Policy (2025–2026)

Christmas gifts can be exchanged in-store up to 5pm on 10th January 2026. Refunds are not available for Christmas returns, and items received after this date will not be accepted.


Shipping Instructions for Returns

Returns will only be accepted with prior authorisation and a Returns Reference Number.

Return Options:

  • In-store returns (Penarth or Cardiff) require a Returns Reference Number.
  • Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

For items over £25, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. The Queen B Boutique is not responsible for any lost returns.
