Marco Tozzi
Marco Tozzi has made women's boots and shoes in Germany since 1979, under the same Wortmann Group that makes Tamaris. Boots are the strongest seller here. Built with cushioned insoles, they're made for actual all-day wear, not just looking good for an hour. Sandals and trainers round out the rail for warmer months and off-duty days.
We carry Marco Tozzi because it's one of the few brands in the mid-price range that customers actually come back for, season after season. Being part of the Wortmann Group, the same family business behind Tamaris, means the quality control runs deeper than the price tag suggests.
Boots make up the bulk of what sells here: ankle boots, comb boots and a scattering of over-the-knee styles, most in leather or leather-look uppers with a real heel height range. Trainers come next, built more for daily wear than a gym bag. Sandals fill out the summer rail, from flat comb styles to the odd wedge.
Marco Tozzi was founded in 1979 and is based in Detmold, Germany, as the second-largest women's shoe label under the Wortmann Group. The name is Italian, translating roughly to "robust brand," but the shoes are German-engineered: cushioned soles, proper stitching, six to eight new collections a year rather than one big drop.
If you've worn through a pair of Marco Tozzi boots before and want the next ones, or you're after something that'll survive a Penarth winter without falling apart by February, this is the rail to start with.
